What levels of training can we offer you?
We understand that different employees will need different levels of training when it comes to the use of adhesives. That's why we offer 3 tiers of adhesive training:

1. Forgeway adhesive bonder (FAB)
For operatives who will be using adhesives day-to-day.

2. Forgeway adhesive supervisor (FAS)
For line managers and supervisors who need to ensure consistent quality.

3. Forgway adhesive engineer (FAE)
For designers and engineers who specify bonded joints.

How much does the training cost?
The cost of the training will depend on several factors such as whether you are an existing customer, the amount of users requiring training, and the location of the training.
However, you can expect pricing to be around £5000 for the FAB training, £8500 for the FAS training, or £12,500 for the FAE training.
Where does the training take place?
The online training will take place on a password-protected link that you can carry out at any time of your liking.
The in-person training will take place either at Forgeway's facilities in the South West of the UK. Or it will take place at your own facility.
There may be instances where training will take place at other locations.
Will participants receive any certification upon completing each level?
Absolutely! Participants who complete each level will be awarded a certificate verifying their expertise in that specific adhesive training level. This certification will stand as proof of their proficiency and skill set.
How often should team members renew or revisit the training?
It's advisable for team members to renew or revisit their training every 6 months to stay updated with the latest techniques and best practices in the adhesive industry.
Periodic training ensures that your team continues to maintain the highest standards of adhesive application and supervision.
How long does the training last?
The duration for each training level varies based on its depth and objectives.

The Forgeway Adhesive Bonder is tailored for beginners and spans no more than 2-4 hours, focusing on hands-on use and a basic understanding of our adhesive products.

The Forgeway Adhesive Supervisor lasts for no more than 20 hours, designed for those already familiar with the basics of adhesive application and aims to equip line managers with supervisory skills.

Finally, the Forgeway Adhesive Engineer course, meant for engineers and designers, is an in-depth program that lasts no more than 100 hours and delves deep into joint design, adhesive selection, and testing techniques.
